# Country map data

These simplified maps describe countries and city centres, not roads, boarding points,
service areas, or guaranteed routes. Only cities returned by the application's active
locations API are displayed as destinations. Unknown city names remain in the visible
list and are not assigned an invented coordinate.

## National outlines

Downloaded 2026-09-18. Coordinates are WGS84 longitude, latitude. Each closed ring was
generalised with Douglas–Peucker tolerance 0.018 degrees, rounded to four decimal
places; degenerate rings under four vertices were omitted. A local equirectangular
projection corrects longitude at mean latitude. This is an illustrative map, not
navigation data. No administrative border was redrawn manually.

does not add cities or routes to the business catalogue.
